How does PadsPass affect my workflow?

PadsPass is designed to streamline your workflow. You receive a simple notification to verify your patient’s uploaded records — there’s no extra data entry or paperwork for your clinic.

Is verification really free, and how does it work?

Yes. Verification is completely free. Once a pet parent uploads vaccination and treatment records, you’ll receive a notification in CheckPoint. You simply confirm that the information is accurate — that’s all.

How accurate and up-to-date are the travel rules and requirements?

PadsPass tracks current airline and government regulations for each destination. You can trust that the guidance your clients receive reflects the latest legal and health requirements.

What if a pet’s records are incomplete or incorrect?

If a record is missing information or doesn’t meet requirements, PadsPass flags it for review. You can guide the pet parent to update the record before travel, helping prevent last-minute complications.

Does using PadsPass reduce liability for my clinic?

Yes. Your role is verification only — PadsPass puts the responsibility for travel compliance with the pet parent. You’re helping ensure accuracy, but you aren’t liable for travel outcomes.

Can PadsPass accommodate all types of pets and international destinations?

PadsPass supports a wide range of pets and international travel rules. Certain species or destinations may have specific restrictions, which the platform clearly highlights for the pet parent.

Can PadsPass generate a CVI (certificate of veterinary inspection) or a USDA Health Certificate?

This is a "coming soon" feature.

PadsPass will be able to generate a CVI, the document most commonly required for US domestic pet travel.

It will also be able to generate destination specific USDA Health Certificates when required for international travel.

Pet parents will be able to complete most of the process digitally, preventing errors before coming to your clinic, while your verification ensures accuracy and compliance.
