How To Downgrade Your Subscription
Great news - your pet's information stays safe with you!
When you change your plan, all of your pet's health records, photos, and important details remain securely stored in your account. We'd never want you to lose those precious memories and vital information about your furry family member.
Different Ways to Downgrade:
VIPP → Digital Pet Passport
Your pet's information stays: Everything remains exactly the same - all records, verification status, and multi-pet access.
What changes: You'll lose access to VIPP's access to premium concierge services (trip planning, dedicated support, etc.). Since VIPP doesn't auto-renew, you can simply let it expire while keeping your Digital Pet Passport subscription active.
Digital Pet Passport → Pet ID (Free Plan)
Your pet's information stays: All health records, vaccination history, photos, and personal details remain in your account - they're yours to keep forever.
What you'll lose: The verification status through PadsPass. This means your pet's records won't carry our official verification for travel or other services, but all the actual information stays with you.
Multi-pet families: You'll need to choose which pet to keep active on the free plan. Don't worry though - you won't lose the other pets' information, you just won't be able to access it until you upgrade again.
VIPP → Pet ID (Free Plan)
This combines both changes above - you'll lose both the VIPP add on services and the Digital Pet Passport verification features, but keep all your pet's information.
