Acaricidal Treatment

What is an acaricidal treatment?

An acaricidal treatment is another term for a flea and tick preventative.

Using the PadsPass app: adding acaricidal (flea and tick) treatments

You can add an acaricidal treatment manually to help you track flea and tick prevention. In the app, this is considered a parasite treatment.

To add it manually (all users):

  1. Add a new Parasite Treatment entry.
  2. In Treatment name, select the treatment from the list of acaricidal treatments.
  3. Confirm and view on your your pet’s profile

To add it as an automatic & verified treatment (Digital Pet Passport users):

  • Upload it as a Treatment Record under Document type.
  • PadsPass will automatically categorize and organize the treatment for you
  • The treatment will be sent to your pet’s licensed veterinarian for verification
