What is an acaricidal treatment?
An acaricidal treatment is another term for a flea and tick preventative.
Using the PadsPass app: adding acaricidal (flea and tick) treatments
You can add an acaricidal treatment manually to help you track flea and tick prevention. In the app, this is considered a parasite treatment.
To add it manually (all users):
- Add a new Parasite Treatment entry.
- In Treatment name, select the treatment from the list of acaricidal treatments.
- Confirm and view on your your pet’s profile
To add it as an automatic & verified treatment (Digital Pet Passport users):
- Upload it as a Treatment Record under Document type.
- PadsPass will automatically categorize and organize the treatment for you
- The treatment will be sent to your pet’s licensed veterinarian for verification
